Tapping feet, moving hands, and a wide smile on the face, how one can be grinning while looking at the sky all the time. Well, if one has the earphones on, it’s definitely possible. It’s an inclusive sign of someone lost in their own world. You don’t just listen to music anymore, you thrive it.
It is very hard to recall times when people actually listened to their surroundings. Behold the dawn of the new era where earphones aren’t just an accessory, they are a way of living, necessity, and let’s be real, a marginal personality trait. Take a moment to consider, leaving the house without earphones feels like stepping out without your phone, wallet, or most importantly your lucidity!
Those days are long past when they were just for tune junkies. This instant, they’re our escape hatch from real life. The world could be on fire, and we’d still be straightening out our wired earphones, or flexing our AirPods like sophisticated style icons.
At the tender age of 13, Samridhi Jain, now 19-years-old, student of Fashion Communication at Pearl Academy, Delhi, decided to purchase her first pair of AirPods series 2, priced at Rs. 25,000. She shares, “My Airpods are my social shield. They help me block out the noise, evade small talk, and vibe in my own world. At times, I am not even listening to anything. I just need peace around me. They help me in mastering my domain, making life feel a little less heart
wrenching.”
Earphones are the real MVPs (most valuable player) of urban survival. They let tears shed in silence, ignore social signals, and above all help us artfully ignore people. If thats not ultimate adaptation, then what is!
“Music is my companion.Whether studying, wandering, or merely surviving, harmonies fill the emptiness I try so hard to avoid. It eases my burden”, says Muskan Taparia, 23-year-old, a student pursuing Masters in Fashion Communication at Pearl Academy, Delhi.
So, here’s to the moments that make life beautiful, untangled and make us wonder. The vibe of earphones is here to remain. And to be honest, we love that! Now, lets pardon ourselves from the screens, to tune in and slip away into our pocket-sized paradise.
